Stringer Construction & Design is a marriage not only of families but of two great businesses as well.   David and Kristen Stringer began working together in 2010, starting with a small collaborative project and found that their creative design and construction skills were a winning combination. David Stringer’s carpentry skills and craftsmanship go back not only years, but generations. Growing up working with both his father and grandfather, who were both master carpenters and contractors themselves, David has been building since his childhood. David began working on a crew building homes in Paris, Texas at age 17 and worked on framing crews, roofing crews and every aspect of the home perfecting his skills. He then moved to Dallas where he spent more than 20 years putting major additions on prominent homes in the Dallas area. He built several spec homes in the meantime and has worked on remodeling projects both big and small since then all over the Dallas metroplex.

Kristen Stringer is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and after several years as a graphic designer, started a home interiors business. She worked for 6 years in Overland Park, Kansas running a successful design and drapery business and after a move back to Dallas continued to bring her eye for detail to many Dallas area homes with beautiful furnishings, draperies, home decor and remodeling.    Today she and David bring their clients not only quality craftsmanship and construction, but creative design as well.  Together they create design concepts and execute remodeling projects from start to finish including design and layout, materials selection and final construction, giving clients a turn-key project with fantastic results.  The combination of their skills provide homeowners the opportunity to sit back and relax while they handle the fine details necessary to bring a home remodel together.
